Accreditation

NRCME Plus Online Training System® strives to serve the entire continuum of healthcare providers seeking training for medical examiner training.  We have been awarded accreditation in multiple provider categories including ACCME, AANP and PACE.  Accreditation is included with training registration and there are no additional fees to claim credit.

Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME):  This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Oakstone Publishing, LLC and NRCME Training System, LLC. The Oakstone Publishing, LLC is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Oakstone Publishing, LLC designates this enduring material for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Providers of Approved Continuing Education  (PACE):  This program has been certified by PACE for 12 CEU’s in accepting states. PACE serves the Chiropractic profession.

Intended Audience: Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathy, Doctors of Chiropractic, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Advanced Practice Nurses, who are specifically interested in performing CMV driver physical exams and obtaining NRCME certification.

Learning Objectives:  After successful completion of this CME activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Apply the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) driver physical qualification regulations and advisory criteria to pass the FMCSA certification test for the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).
  2. Apply the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) driver physical qualification regulations and advisory criteria when performing examinations for CMV drivers and determining medical certification.
  3. Gain specific guidance and understand sources of information for questions on CMV examinations and requisite documentation necessary for such exams.
